About a week and 1/2 ago, Matt and I got to travel to Boulder, Co. for one of the most anticipated events in the social media world: Gwen Bell + Joel Longtine’s wedding. For me, it was a 3 day affair – Day 1: Coffee meetup w/ Gwen + Joel for coffee at The Cup (very cool place). Then we headed out for a one hour shoot (in high noon sun!) before they were off and running to the airport to get family. Finished off the day with a few hours of editing and dinner out. Day 2: Day of wedding fun, long, and lovely! I decided that it would be way great if we could document the whole entire day. So we did… Coffee @ 10:00, Nails @ 11:00, Hair @ 12:00ish (i think we ended up staying at ten20 a bit longer as @cosmopolitician & @magsmac will more than likely write a lengthy post on diet coke and M&M’s that will explain this whole experience of wonderfulness), Makeup @ 1:15, Dressed by 2:45, Wedding at 3:00! The ceremony was so amazing and the day couldn’t have been more beautiful. The Reception was held on the 11th floor of the Physics building on campus which had the most incredible views of the mountains, university, and the entire city of Boulder. Day 3: Recovering from the day before and hiking in the Rockies with two of my best ladies of which were both mentioned above. Well, I love to write, and honestly this entire experience could be a novel so I will get on with what I’m better at, telling a story in pictures. I’m going to post a few of my very favorite images from the few days that really spoke to me when I saw them – so this post will be a little longer than usual. But there are just so many I dont have room to add. My solution to telling the entire story is to share with you these short clips below that I hope will give you a feel for how beautifully in love and super amazing this Gwen Bell-Longtine lady is and her man Joel Longtine. Be sure to check in with Gwen’s posts on her site – www.gwenbell.com to hear more about their post wedding adventures.
One more thing – a million thanks to my husband Matt who second shot for me, took some super great photos, and assisted me whenever I needed him. I love you.
* Make sure to have your speakers/headphones up when you play the video clips.
The following post has a few of my favorite images from the day…….
